Alerts

How alerts work

Author and event pages have a "Get alerts" box. Give it your email and we'll send one alert when something specific changes, nothing more:

• Follow an author and we alert you when a new event is added for them.
• Follow an event and we alert you if that event's own details change.
• Follow all events and we alert you whenever any new romance event is added to the site.

That's all we use it for. We don't send a newsletter, we don't sell or share the address, and we don't combine it with anything else we track. You can stop any single alert on the unsubscribe page using the link from your confirmation.

This is separate from the general updates form, which is for telling us about a wrong or missing listing, not for alerts.
